Hook the bracket with sensor into the two slotted holes.
Tighten the hexagon screws, if necessary, so that the
bracket can be removed without effort but has only small
clearance.
Check whether the marking for the static level is at the
level of the outlet.
Ensure that there is nothing between the sensor fingers
(e.g. sensor cable).
Position the sensor in the brackets so that the sensor fin-
gers lie against the outlet structure.
3.1.4
Mounting the sensor on an outlet structure with special dimensions
In case of freestanding grease separators with outlet struc-
tures with special size ("flattened shape", not round pipe:
see Figure A on the right), particular measures are required
to ensure correct installation of the sensor. The following
must be noted for outlet structures with special size:
The structure does not have a preformed stop, and
instead must be placed centrally on the outlet structure.
Accordingly the drilling template must be placed against
the top edge of the upper section (C).
When selecting the 2 drillholes from the 4 predrilled open-
ings, the relative height of the outlet to the arrow marking
on the sensor must be taken into account. The top, mid-
dle or bottom two openings in the drilling template must
be chosen accordingly. (B,C)
After installing the sensor, the distance of the top sen-
sor finger from the static level of the separator must be
measured (D). If this is a value other than 50 cm, the
|Level comparison|
accordingly in the control unit.
Apart from the instructions above, the installation procedure
is the same as for standard type outlet structures.

setting must be adjusted
