The MODBUS RTU connection of the VMI® PRO 1000 unit is configured with the VMI® LINK PRO
application.
The MODBUS RTU connection must be configured after entering the VMI® settings. This means that
the MODBUS RTU protocol configuration settings are known at installation. These settings can be
obtained from the BMS manager.
The BMS is connected via a card in the VMI®'s technical unit. 3 wires must be connected:
- Signal A
- Signal B
- GND
3-wire connector on the right on the card shown below:

Nine sensors can be paired in addition to the control unit.
Make sure to refer to the installation instructions provided with the sensor.
