Operation
10 Guide the consumable material strip underneath the
guide roller to the print unit.
11 Route the consumable material strip underneath the light
barrier.

6 .1 .1 Adjusting the light barrier
To adapt to the material, the light barrier can be moved
perpendicular to the direction of paper feed. The sensor
for the light barrier is visible from the front through the
print unit and is marked with an indentation on the light
barrier holder. When the device is switched on, a yellow
LED also illuminates the sensor position.

1 Open the printhead.
2 Move the adjustment dial to the setting position by
pressing on it.
3 By turning the adjustment dial, position the light barrier
such that the sensor can detect the gap or a reflection or
perforation marking.

4 If the materials do not have a rectangular shape, align
the light barrier with the front edge of the material in the
direction of paper feed.
5 Move the adjustment dial to the initial position by
pressing it.
6 Close the printhead.
