- Page 7 Setting the seat depth Push the rear lever on the right beneath the seat and slide the seat either forwards or backwards. It is important that whatever the position, you are in contact with the backrest and that there is suf- ficient room between the front edge of the seat and the lower legs.
- Page 8 Setting the resistance of the backrest Pull out the hand wheel on the bottom left of the seat and turn it until the resistance of the backrest has reached the desired level (forwards higher, backwards lower). The backrest should be adjusted to your weight such that it supports you in any sitting position while at the same time enabling dynamic sitting.
- Page 9 Locking the backrest To lock the backrest in a vertical sitting position move the tilt lever on the bottom front of the seat. By moving it in the opposite direc- tion you release the locked position, enabling the backrest and as such the synchronised mechanism to be used for dynamic sitting.
- Page 10 Setting the height of the lumbar support The lumbar support is set at the desired height using the slide on the left of the rear of the backrest. It should be set such that it affords maximum support to the lordosis region and prevents the pelvis leaning backwards.
- Page 11 Setting the height of the armrests (all armrests) To set the armrest at the desired height press the button on the outside of the armrest padding. In order to relieve the shoulder muscles as much as possible the upper and lower arm should form a right angle.
- Page 12 Setting the width of the armrests (all armrests) You can adjust the width of the armrests using the adjustment screw on bottom of the armrest supports: Loosen the screw, slide the armrest to the desired position on the runner and tighten the screw again.
