- The strength of the jack stands is greatly reduced if loads are not centred or if sideways forces are applied to them.
- Always ensure that jack stands are in perfect condition (no cracked welds, no loose, missing or damaged
components). If it is suspected that they have been subjected to an excessive load or an impact, immediately
discontinue use and remove from service.
- It is advisable to inspect jack stands before use to ensure that they have not deteriorated (no corrosion, cracking,
or deformation).
- Use only as specified by the manufacturer.
- Use no more than a single pair of stands.
- Use on hard , level surface, e. g. concrete.
- Securely chock the wheels that are still in
contact with the ground.
- DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM LOAD.
- Use the jack stands only on a hard level surface.
- Never use on sloping, inclined, uneven ground or on a soft surface.
- Always inspect jack stands before use.
- When supporting a vehicle, place jack stands only at support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.
- Ensure that the load and the jack stands are stable before working under the vehicle.
- Centre the load on the saddle of the jack stand.
- Never use an additional support.
- Do not modify the jack stands in any way.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage resulting from a failure to comply
with these warnings.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. For correct stability choose a hard and flat surface.
2. Engage the hand brake and put the vehicle into gear.
3. Adjust the ratchet bar to the desired height, and lock it with the locking handle.
4. Secure the jack stand with the safety pin.
5. Jack up your vehicle as specified by the manufacturer.
6. Centre the load over the saddle of the jack stand. It is advisable to leave the jack in place when the
weight of the vehicle is supported by the jack stand.
7. To remove the jack stand, jack the vehicle up again, pull the jack stand free, then lower the vehicle to
the ground.
8. Protect the jack stands from corrosion by cleaning them, then wipe over with an oily rag before storage.
