7.3 Tank filling

Before you start the Cooling/Humidification mode, make sure that the suction pump is
properly attached to the bottom of the water tank by means of a plastic swivel. Then, fill the
tank with clean water, with a temperature not exceeding 40 °C. The lower the water
temperature, the greater the cooling effect.
When filling the tank with water, watch its level carefully and make sure that it lies between
the MIN and MAX marks.
It is also possible to slide the tank out completely and fill it outside the appliance. In this case
it is necessary to disconnect the power cord from the mains. When removing the tank,
proceed according to section 8.1 (if the tank needs to be cleaned, follow point 'd').

8 Maintenance

Prior to any maintenance work, switch off the appliance and disconnect the power cord from
the mains.
Clean the appliance surface with a soft damp cloth.
WARNING:
 Do not immerse the appliance into water.
 Do not use any chemicals such as detergents, alcohol, solvents or abrasives for
cleaning.
 Prevent water from penetrating inside the appliance, especially in electronic
components. There is a risk of electric shock injuries or appliance damage.
Water in the tank should be clean; it therefore needs to be changed, ideally, every other day,
if the appliance is not frequently used . If the appliance is not to be used for a longer time,
e.g. during storage, discharge water from the tank.
