Use on parallel vice
Tighten the bosses of the
bender in the jaws of the vice.
Method of bending with barrel
The tube is held against the former by the barrel It slides into the groove of the barrel.
Unscrew the knob of the hook in order to feed the tube in.
Insert the tube to be bent and, with the aid of the feed screw, tighten the tube between the barrel and the former
until these 2 parts come into contact with each other. Rotate the hook and tighten the knob until the hook makes
contact with the tube.
Tighten it to the desired angle. The formers are calibrated for the most common angles. Take into account the
flexibility of the tube.
NB: The use of bending oil on the formers and counter-formers reduces the bending force on the large diameters.

Method of bending with sliding guide
The tube is held against the former by the sliding guide. The
latter moves on the rollers at the same time as the former.
Use with support base 250203
Attach the support base to the edge of the
workbench in a vertical or horizontal position
Tighten the hexagonal bolt of frame with the
bolt of the support base.
Place the barrel against the rollers of the feeder rod, with the groove corresponding
to the diameter of the tube to be bent.
Place the axis of the barrel in the housing of the slide.
Sufficiently unscrew the barrel bracket in order to allow the the former to go
through.
Place the former corresponding to the diameter of the tube to be bent into the pivot
of the bender, with the axis of the feeder in the hole in the pivot or in the bore
located toward the outside of the former according to the diameter.
Place the sliding guide against the rollers of the pushing rod, with the
groove corresponding to the diameter of the tube to be bent facing the
axis of the bender.
Then proceed in the same manner as with the bending by means of the
barrel.
