DEVICE CLEANING

Before cleaning unplug the device and allow it to cool. Wash the cover and all
containers with hot water. Do not use abrasive and aggressive agents. Wipe
the device with a damp cloth inside and outside. Do not wash the jar covers
and containers in a dishwasher. Do not immerse the kettle and the bottom
base in water! The bottom base may be wiped with the damp cloth.
DESCALING
For continued and effective operation, it is recommended to descale the device regu-
larly. In ordinary use, it is recommended to descale at the following intervals: – once
every three months with soft water (up to 18 dH), – every month with hard water
(over 18 dH).

Add 20 g citric acid to the device and pour 200 milliliters of water.
2 Switch on the device and select water heating for preparation of milk
formula.

Set the temperature at 100 degrees.

Leave the device in this mode for 5 minutes.

Leave the solution in the device till the scale will completely dissolve.

Thoroughly flush the device inside. If there are traces of scale in the device,
repeat the cleaning. You can also use other suitable descaling agents while
following the manufacturer's instructions.
