Congratulations on your decision to purchase the AQUAKIT
COMFORT-S column.
This handbook contains the instructions you need to fit the
AQUAKIT COMFORT-S hydromassage column correctly.
Installation must be completed by an authorised fitter and
must comply with current regulations.
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE UNIT
1.1. AQUAKIT COMFORT-S
1.2. ACCESSORIES BOX (page 8).
2 - MATERIAL NEEDED TO INSTALL THE CO-
LUMN
(page 9).
3. BEFORE STARTING
To install the unit the minimum vertical FREE space from the
ceiling to the shower tray or bath shown in Fig.1a and Fig. 1b will
be required.
Fig. 1a
Check the available height if you want to install the column over
a bath or shower tray.
The wall area against which the column is to be fitted must be
adequately finished and completely flat. Take care to avoid shaped
relief tiles, decorative friezes or projections of any kind.
N.B.: The AQUAKIT COMFORT-S column cannot be fi tted in a
corner.
To make it easy to use, fit the unit over the centre of the na-
rrowest part of the bath or shower tray. This will allow maximum
mobility while using the hydromassage.
If the column is to be fitted over a bath, check that the distance
from the wall to the bath pipe outlet is not more than 135 mm.
to avoid problems should you want to fill the bath (Fig. 2).

3.1. PLUMBING
-
Type of water: drinking.
-
Maximum temperature: 50°C.
-
Maximum dynamic pressure: 5 bar.
-
Minimum dynamic pressure: 2 bar.
If the dynamic pressure is 5 bars or more, it is necessary to pur-
chase the pressure reducer kit (ref. 2HF086000).
The mains water intake points for the unit must be located within
the area shown (page 9).
Accumulator tanks:
If the hydromassage is going to be supplied from an accumula-
tor tank with a capacity of less than 100 litres, we recommend
that you turn the thermostat to the highest possible temperature
setting. Otherwise the supply of hot water is only likely to last
for a few minutes when the hydromassage is in operation. For
safety reasons a temperature of 60°C. must not be exceeded.
Instant heaters:
If using an instant heater or combination boiler, they must guarantee
the pressure and consumption levels stated above. If the output
power is less than 20,000 Kcal/hour, high temperatures cannot
be maintained during certain functions, and a loss of pressure or
temperature will be noted.
If the boiler switches off and cold water comes out while using any
of the cubicle's functions, fi rst clean the fi lters of the thermostatic
taps, and if the problem continues, adjust the temperature and the
fl ow of the boiler as required. If you do not manage to solve the
problem, please consult the boiler's after-sale service.
Mixed systems with an instant heater and an accumulator
tank:
This is the recommended system, with a tank volume of no less
than 50 litres.
