4. Connect the black cable/cable shielding to the negative contact
and the red-and-brown cable to the positive contact of the
alternative 12 V plug.
Test the alternative 12 V plug
1. Measure the electrical passage of the following connections:
ACCUVAC connector
+
• Positive contact of connecting block/connector against
positive contact of alternative 12 V plug
• Negative contact of connecting block/connector against
negative contact of alternative 12 V plug
2. Measure both contacts on the BASE STATION connecting block/
ACCUVAC connector for short-circuiting.
There may not be any short circuit.
3. Connect the alternative 12 V plug to the vehicle's on-board
power supply.
4. Check the polarity of the voltage at the contacts of the
BASE STATION connecting block/ACCUVAC connector.
