Trouble-shooting
WARNING! BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY WORK ON THE UNIT
MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT IS DISCONNECTED FROM
THE POWER SUPPLY!
In the event of a malfunction, first check the following:
• Is Tonic correctly wired up in accordance with the wiring diagram?
• Is the water filter clean? The filter is located adjacent to the water feed. When
cleaning, loosen the pipe connection, remove the filter and clean off any calcium
deposits or foreign bodies.
• If there is any form of shut-off valve on the pipe leading to the steam generator,
make sure that this is in the open position.
• Are all the fuses in the fuse box intact?
• Is the control panel correctly set?
• Make sure that the integral temperature limit control has not been activated.
How to enjoy your steam bath to the full!
For most people 40-45°C is usually a suitable bathing temperature. You can set
the temperature and read it directly on the control panel. (There is no need for a
hygrometer; the relative humidity is always 100%).
• Shower and wash well before starting your steam bath.
• Take a towel to sit on.
• Relax and let yourself unwind in the clouds of soothing steam.
• Cool off now and again with an invigorating shower. Alternate between the
steam bath and shower functions as many times as you wish.
• Round off your last session amid the clouds of steam with a cool, refreshing
shower.
Let your skin dry slowly in the warm air before dressing. Sit without clothes until your
skin has cooled down and the pores have closed. Treat yourself to a long, cool drink,
relax and enjoy the feelgood factor!
In the event of any problems, please contact the retailer where you
purchased the equipment.
