SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Strict compliance with the instructions and maintenance guidelines is
Improper use or non-compliance with the operational instructions
Before operation:
Unpack the appliance check for any obvious damage.
If you have any doubts do not use the appliance and contact your APEX STEAM dealer.
Save the original packaging:
The APEX appliance is only accepted for repairs if it is returned in its original packaging.
− The appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it is intended
− Prior to using this appliance; read this User Guide carefully and in its entirety.
− Any use of the appliance contrary to the instructions in this User Guide will void the
warranty.
− The electrical equipment to which this device will be connected must meet the ratings
required by the models nameplate.
− Do not use the appliance in extreme temperatures. The ambient temperature should
range between 40°F and 105°F (5°C and 40°C).
− Before connecting the appliance to a power source, make sure that the outlet and
connections are secure and properly grounded. You can find the power consumption of this
appliance on the manufacturers name plate on the bottom of the appliance.
− Do not leave the appliance unattended. Even for brief moments... you must remove the
plug from the socket
− Before starting any kind of work on the device pull remove the plug from the socket.
− Do not unplug from the socket by pulling the cord of the appliance.
− Protect the power cord from twisting, damage or passing over sharp edges. Keep it
away from heat sources.
− Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the appliance itself is damaged
− Do not use an extension cord without a grounded connection and ensure that it is rated
for the unit's power requirements ...do not use extension cord reels.
− If your power cord needs to be replaced contact APEX Steam service dept.
− The device is equipped with thermal switch protection that can only be activated or
changed by the APEX Steam service dept.
− If the device is damaged or it does not function properly it must immediately be turned
off. and labeled "DO NOT USE"
− For any kind of repairs, contact the APEX Steam service dept.
− If the power cord of the device is damaged it should be immediately replaced by the
APEX Steam service dept.
− Never use the appliance with wet hands or feet.
− Do not immerse the appliance, its cord or plug in water or other liquids.
− Do not use the appliance within walking distance of sinks, tubs, showers or water
reservoirs
