10. Troubleshooting
No picture, no sound
• Check the voltage/power supply of the in- and outdoor unit (plug-in mains units) and
correct wiring of the outdoor unit. Check that the rechargeable batteries are inserted
with the correct polarity.
• Switch on the indoor unit via the on/off switch (18) (switch position "ON").
• Charge the rechargeable battery of the indoor unit via the enclosed mains adapter or
operate the indoor unit via the mains adapter.
• Log on your outdoor unit to an indoor unit; see chapter 9. a). Keep a distance of
0.5 - 1 m between the outdoor and indoor units.
Door opener does not work
• Check the correct wiring of the door opener at the outdoor unit.
• The switching output for the door opener is potential-free. Only an internal relay is
switched here (for contact resilience, see chapter "Technical data").
You therefore need an additional external voltage/current supply for the door opener.
Important!
Never use the mains adapter of the outdoor unit of the video-door intercom for
voltage/power supply of the door opener!
The mains adapter serves only for operation of the outdoor unit!
Never switch the mains voltage via the potential-free switching contact! There
is danger to life from electric shock!
Flickering image on the indoor unit display
• This is caused, e.g. by counter-light or mirroring objects in the area of the outdoor
unit's camera.
The image in the display of the indoor unit is only shown in black and white
• In low light and at night, the outdoor unit activates the integrated IR LEDs. The image
is then transmitted in black and white according to the principle used.
