DISPOSING OF THE ELECTRONIC INDICATOR
In accordance with 2002/96/CE EU Directive, the unused electronic LED (2) must
be disposed of in compliance but not before the battery has been removed. The
recyclable materials contained in the appliance must be recovered so as to prevent
environmental pollution. For further information, contact the local disposal body or
the appliance dealer.
This electronic indicator (2) contains an LR44 battery.
WARNING:
Do not dispose of the batteries in domestic waste: these must be disposed of separately.
Remove the electronic LED (2) lifting the lever in the upper part [Fig N].
Break the electronic indicator (2) using a tool (e.g. a hammer) paying attention so as
not to cause injury. The use of protective gloves is recommended [Fig O].
Remove the battery and dispose of it at a specific collection centre [Fig P].
To satisfy high quality requirements, the Imetec Acqua filtering jugs and filtering cartridges
are subjected to rigorous internal and external quality controls, in compliance with Italian
and European legislation.
