After having removed the appliance from its packaging, verify its integrity
based on the drawing and check for any damage caused during transport. If in
doubt, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised assistance service.
Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of
the reach of children; risk of suffocation!
This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed,
that is as a DOMESTIC APPLIANCE FOR THE TREATMENT OF DRINKING
WATER. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.
The appliance may be used by children below 12 years of age, by persons with
reduced physical, sensorial or mental abilities or persons lacking experience
only if they have received prior instructions concerning its safe use and if they
are informed as to the dangers related to use of the appliance. Children may
not play with the appliance. Appliance cleaning and maintenance cannot be
completed by children without adult supervision.
Should the appliance break or stop working properly, turn it off and do not
attempt to mend it yourself.
DO NOT expose the appliance to weather conditions (rain, sun).
DO NOT use near a hob. Make sure that the appliance does not come into
contact with hot incandescent surfaces, naked flames, pans and other utensils.
NOT suitable for use with microwave oven.

Failure to follow these instructions or misuse of the product may be a source
of potential danger.
Only use the product with drinking water. If provisions are given from authorities
that invite to boil the water, follow these provisions and do not use the filtering
jug.
For persons suffering from immune deficiency, it is recommended to boil the
tap water before using it and to filter it when it has cooled down. It is also
recommended to boil the filtered water for these persons.
The filtering system can increase the content of potassium. In any case, the
content of potassium in a litre of filtered water is much lower than the RDA
(Recommended Dietary Allowance). For subjects with kidney pathologies
and/or who follow a diet poor in potassium, consult a doctor before using the
filtering jug.
The filtering system can increase the content of sodium. In any case, the content
of sodium in a litre of filtered water is much lower than the RDA (Recommended
Dietary Allowance). For subjects with hypertension and/or who follow a diet
poor in sodium, consult a doctor before using the filtering jug.
The filtering system can reduce the hardness of the water. We therefore
recommend that persons suffering from heart disease and those who must
follow a controlled diet, consult the doctor before using the filtering jug.
