Steam iron Use instructions
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
When used for the first time a little smoke may appear but will stop after a few minutes.
Before using the iron remove adhesive or protective film from the soleplate using if neces sary a wet
cloth.
Do not scratch the soleplate with metallic object, as well as zip, buttons, etc.
Check that the tank is empty with water; if using steam function it is necessary to fill the tank with
water (see paragraph steam ironing).
Before plugging the iron on the socket, check that the main voltage correspond to the one used for
the iron.
ATTENTION: THE SOLEPLATE IS VERY HOT, DO NOT TOUCH DURING USE !
KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
IRONING
1 – Set the temperature on "MIN".
2 – Fill the yank with water.
3 – Place the iron in vertical position, the soleplate does not be in contact with objects or other.
4 – Plug the appliance to the socket.
5 – Set the desired temperature, using symbols on the thermostat.
6 – Start ironing.
7 – After ironing, put the iron in vertical position and unplug the appliance.
The iron must always in movement on the fabric when used.

TEMPERATURE SETTING

Always check the washing and ironing labels of clothes. If necessary, see instructions below:
The number of points on the thermostat (8) indicate the temperature from the lower one (•) to the
higher one (•••).The table is valid for fabrics and not for brilliant surfaces, with relief printings or folds
which must be ironed with low temperature.
Before using the iron, always make sure that the temperature of iron is adapted to the type of fabric:
wool with wool, cotton with cotton, etc. The iron heats quickly and cools slowly; thus always start
with clothing which requires a low temperature (like synthetic fabrics) and always progress with the
highest temperatu res.
