Silcare Breathe SBTTCP22L - SBTTCP40L
The Silcare Breathe silicone liner provides a perforated cushioned socket interface
which allows moisture to pass through the perforations keeping the skin dry. It is
manufactured from biocompatible materials.
Wearers with sensitive skin, diabetics and vascular cases should
be extra vigilant and may need to apply lubricant to sensitive
areas. We recommend a routine visual check and if required
consult your medical Practitioner.
Take care when handling the liner to avoid possible contamination
with materials such as fibreglass which will stick to the liner and
cause skin irritation.
Donning and doffing
Care must be taken during donning/doffing not to
damage the liner with fingernails or sharp jewelry.
Do NOT pull or stretch the liner.
1. Roll the liner inside out.
2. Make sure the liner is positioned
correctly to suit the top profile.
3. Roll the liner on taking care to
expel any trapped air.
Warning: when donning a sock, clothing
and the prosthetic limb, be aware that the
liner can build up a static charge
The fabric cover may ladder slightly around
the perforations. This will not affect the
function or effectiveness of the liner.
