HOW TO CLEAN THE FILTERS OF THE WALL-MOUNTED INTERIOR UNIT
The air filter must be periodically checked and cleaned so as to ensure that the
appliance operates correctly. Proceed as described below (Fig. 1):
1. Power the unit.
2. Remove the top and bottom panels by pulling them outwards.
3. Remove the filters by pushing the central tabs upwards until they have been
freed from their retainer, then remove them by pulling them downwards.
4. Wash them with water or clean them with a vacuum cleaner.
5. Fit all the parts back in their original positions.
NOTE. This operation must be carried out at least once a month (the frequency
with which the filter needs cleaning varies depending on the characteristics and
dust in the room where the air conditioner is installed) or when the filter indicator
comes on.

CLEANING THE INTERIOR UNIT

Proceed as follows to clean the interior unit (Fig. 2):
1. Clean with a damp cloth.
2. Do not use direct jets of water to clean the unit or the electrical components
could be damaged.
3. Never use spirits or other corrosive substances to clean the unit

CLEANING THE EXTERIOR UNIT

• The exterior unit (Fig. 3) must be cleaned periodically and at the beginning of
the season before starting the air conditioner.
• Clean the air intake and outlet gratings, removing any dirt that may obstruct
the free circulation of air, being careful not to damage the fins of the conden-
sing bank.
Note: When cleaning the rear grille be careful not to cut yourself on the fins of
the condensing bank.
