"LED" INDICATORS OF THE INTERIOR UNIT
A description of the meanings of the "LEDs" on the front part of
the interior unit as they come on, is given below:
1. TIMER: Comes on when the timer settings are made.
2. Display which shows, depending on the case:
• the ambient temperature when the unit is operating normally
• temperature setting during the first 10 seconds in which the
SUPER mode is activated
• the temperature as it is set via the remote control (once 10
seconds have elapsed, the display will show the ambient tem-
perature again).
3. SLEEP: Comes on when the Sleep mode is activated.
4. RUN: Remains on whilst the unit is operating.
5. COMP: Comes on when the compressor is operating.
6. Receiver of the signal transmitted by the remote control.

INTERNAL UNIT EMERGENCY BUTTON

The ON/OFF emergency button (Fig 1 -5).
It allows turning the unit off and/or on in case of a remote-control unit fault.
Operating mode and the preset temperature are automatically adjusted depen-
ding on the room temperature at switch-on.
NOTE: The emergency operation must be used temporarily when the remote-
control is faulty or has been lost.

AUTO-RESTART FUNCTION

If there is a power failure whilst the unit is operating, it will continue to function
with the program that was activated before the interruption once the power
supply returns.
The unit is preset by the manufacturer without the auto-restart function. Should
this function be required, press the Emergency Key (ON/OFF) for about 5
seconds, leaving the device on: the setting of the auto-restart function is confir-
med by an acoustic signal.
If the auto-restart function is set, by pressing the Emergency Key (ON/OFF) for
about 5 seconds, the function is disengaged and this is confirmed by an acoustic
signal.

SWITCHING OFF AND SHUT DOWN

To switch off the conditioner, press the "ON/OFF" button on the remote control.
As soon as it is switched on, or when it is switched off and back on again, the
compressor does not start working immediately but waits three minutes in order
to protect the system. Before switching off the unit for a long period, keep it run-
ning for two or three hours in the cooling mode with the temperature set to 30°C.
Then disconnect the power supply, clean the filters and remove the battery from
the remote control.
