Note:
1. So called master-fingers are any finger that can be registered as a
user-finger. User-fingers are any finger that will be authorized later
to open the door. The default settings (all 3 LEDs light up) will
automatically store the first 3 enrolled fingers (e.g. right thumb) as
master-fingers. Master-fingers shall not be enrolled as user-fingers!
2. After each fingerprint scan (swiping a finger across the sensor),
please wait for about 3 seconds until the corresponding LED lights
up: You may now proceed to scan the next finger.
3. Swiping fingers over the sensor – Advices:
⇒
Swipe the finger across the sensor evenly and applying gentle
pressure
⇒
Make sure that most of the fingerprint pattern is captured during the
scan (see figure on the next page).
4. Which finger should you use?
⇒
If you have slim fingers, use your thumb or index finger.
⇒
We recommend you to enroll at least two fingers per person (each
finger at least three times; for example, right or left index finger). In
total, up to 150 fingers can be enrolled.
