Mounting options
By depressing the fence clip (1), the energiser can be
hung directly on the fence wire. Connect the earth clip
(14) to a galvanised metal stake driven into the ground.
P30 mounting stand
The energiser can be attached to a mounting stand.
When located in firm ground this stand provides a convenient means of
mounting the P30 energiser. Attach the yellow external fence lead (15) to
the fence lead connector (7) and clip the other end to the fence line. Attach
the green earth clip (14) to a galvanised metal earth stake driven into the
ground. In moist soil conditions you can use the steel shaft of the stand as
the earth stake.
Important warnings
The PATURA P30 portable energiser is not suitable for connection to any
equipment connected to the mains electricity supply (e.g. battery chargers)
Only operate the P30 energiser in an upright position and do not submerge it.
Always remove the internal batteries when flat or prior to long term storage.
Replace the batteries as a complete new set and do not mix battery brands or types.
12 V lead acid batteries
Avoid spilling the acid and check the level regularly.
Never run your battery completely flat.
Never leave your battery flat, recharge it at the first opportunity.
Keep the energiser away from the corrosive and explosive battery fumes.
