The duration of the call you are making is shown on the display.

Handsfree
This function is used to listen to the caller via the loudspeaker.
Two methods are available to use the phone in Handsfree mode, namely direct dialling and
switching during a call.
The current status, receiver operation y or Handsfree mode u y is indicated in the
display.
The device transmits signals/calls very loud in Handsfree mode. It is essential to
switch Handsfree mode off before holding the handset against your ear. This will
prevent hearing damage.
Direct dialling
Dial the number and press the A button twice to initiate dialling.
Switching during a call
While a call is in progress, press the A button to switch to Handsfree mode.
Ending handsfree mode
If the handset is in Handsfree mode, press the A button to end Handsfree mode.
Muting the microphone in the handset
Press the C button to switch the microphone on and off during a call.

Key lock
The key lock feature prevents functions assigned to buttons being activated accidentally.
The phone keypad can be locked against use. The key lock feature prevents functions as-
signed to buttons being activated accidentally. You can still use the A button to take calls.
The v icon appears in the display when the key lock is activated. Pressing another
button while the keypad is locked will provoke a beep signal. To turn the key lock
on or off, press and hold the # button for about 2 seconds.
