After the set time has expired the browning process
stops and a signal is sounded by the unit.
•
The heat supply is stopped and the red light on the
selection switch goes off.
•
Press down on the lever and remove the prepared
toast.
NOTE!
The toaster is not equipped with an automatic ejection function.
WARNING! Danger of burns!
Toast is very hot immediately following toasting – kitchen tongs should be used
to remove toast from the unit.
WARNING! Hot surface!
During operation some elements of the unit very become hot. To avoid burns, do
not touch hot elements!

If the unit is not to be used, disconnect it from the socket by removing the plug.

Crumb tray

A removable crumb tray is located at the bottom of the unit.
•
Clean out the crumb tray regularly. Remove it from the unit and clean it of crumbs. If
necessary the crumb tray may be washed with a soft, moist cloth.
•
After cleaning, replace the crumb tray in the unit. Prior to use, dry the tray
thoroughly.
•
Ensure that the tray is fully inserted into its opening.
CAUTION!
To prevent damage or dirtying of the unit always use the crumb tray.
