General explanation of RMST sequencer management
◦
Setting (via password-protected menu) of the sequencer by means
of configuration/enablement of the digital and analogue inputs and
outputs.
◦
Setting (via password-protected menu) of the network and the main
operating parameters, such as:
•
system setpoint (regulated on the system delivery tempera-
ture);
•
temperature differential within which the machines are activated;
•
operating mode of the units (Summer or Winter);
•
management of the password to lock the keyboard and/or to
lock the system's ON/OFF key;
•
setting of serial communication to an external BMS.
◦
Display of operation of the single units in terms of:
•
display of its probes;
•
display of pressures (if transducers are present);
•
display of the operating status of the compressors;
•
display of the presence of any alarms;
•
display of the operating hours of the compressors;
•
display of the setpoint at which the machine is working (sent
by the sequencer);
•
display/setting of the internal differential based upon which
the compressors are activated.
◦
Display of the status of the digital and analogue inputs/outputs of
the sequencer.
◦
General display of the status of the network via display of the status
of the connected units, in particular:

For a network with 4 units, if 4 symbols
all of the units are connected correctly in serial network and communi-
cations is OK.
◦
Display of the unit operating status via display of the status of the
connected units, in particular:
Unit in network and declared present but not in operation

(compressor ON)
Unit in network and declared present and in alarm status
◦
If there is an alarm among the units, the "Alarm" key will be backlit.
Press it to show on the display which unit is in alarm status and the
type of alarm.
◦
If there is a malfunction of the sequencer (default hardware) or se-
rial misalignment of a single unit from the network, the system will
cause the single unit (or all of them in the case of sequencer har-
dware default) to work locally with its own settings in stand- alone
condition (regulating on its own setpoint and differentiated with re-
ference to the reading of the evaporator inlet probe).
