Volume Measurement Procedure

o Place the kitchen scale on a level, hard and dry surface and then press the power but-
ton to turn on the kitchen scale.
o Press the mode button to select either milk or water volume measurement mode.
o The scale will display zero when ready.
o Place the empty liquid container on the kitchen scale platform. The LCD display will
show the container's weight.
o Press the 'ZERO' button to tare the weight of the container.
o Once the LCD display shows zero, pour the liquid into the container while keeping the
container on the kitchen scale platform. The LCD display will automatically show the
final volume.
o NOTE: To reset, remove everything from the platform and press the 'ZERO' button.
o NOTE: To manually turn off the kitchen scale, press and hold down the power button.
Otherwise, the kitchen scale will automatically shut off after two minutes of inactivity.

Zero / Tare Procedure

The tare function allows the user to deduct the weight of a container from the total weight
in order to determine the net weight of the contents inside the container.
o NOTE: Always take the kitchen scale's maximum weight capacity into consideration (11
lb/ 5kg) when using the tare function.
o Power on the kitchen scale and wait for the LCD display to show zero.
o Place an empty container on the scale platform. The LCD display will show the con-
tainer's weight.
o Press the 'ZERO' button to tare the weight of the container.
o Once the LCD display shows zero, place the contents to be weighed into the container.
The net weight of the contents of the container will be shown on the LCD display.
o To reset, remove everything from the platform and press the 'ZERO' button.
o NOTE: The kitchen scale will automatically use the zero function when the total weight
applied on the kitchen scale is < 7 oz (200 g), and will use tare when the total weight
applied on the scale is >7 oz (200 g)

Unit Conversion

o To change the unit of measurement, press the 'UNIT' button
(located beneath the kitchen scale) until the LCD display indi-
cates the desired unit of measurement.

Automatic switch-off

o The kitchen scale will automatically shut off after two minutes of inactivity.
