Ensure that you have read and understood this user
manual before using the kitchen appliance and always
follow the instructions in the user manual when using
this kitchen appliance. Failure to comply with the in-
structions in this user manual and/or using this kitchen
appliance in ways other than those stated in this user
manual may result in serious injury and/or damage to
the kitchen appliance.
o Always place the kitchen scale on a level, hard and dry
surface in order to ensure measurement accuracy.
o DO NOT exceed the 11 lb (5kg) weight capacity. An
overload indicator will be shown on the LCD display if
the limit is exceeded.
o DO NOT immerse the kitchen scale in water or corro-
sive liquids. If liquid is spilled on the kitchen scale's
button interface or digital display, immediately clean
the affected area using a soft cloth in order to avoid
potential damage to the kitchen scale.
o When replacing batteries, make sure they are in-
serted correctly. The correct polarity is shown inside
the battery compartment.
