2. ENGLISH
This additional sheet contains safety instructions in addition to the
installation and operating instructions. Read this safety information
carefully and keep it within reach when using the infrared control
unit. This makes it possible for you to refer to information about
safety and operation at any time.
2.1. Safety information for the installer
● The wave.com4 infra / IHS / IHF / IS1 and IS2 infrared control
units make it possible to start* infrared heaters or infrared heat
plates remotely. If this function is used, the infrared cabin must
meet the following condition:
The infrared cabin must be equipped with a door lock so
that the preparation for the operating mode "Stand-by
for remote operation" is overridden when the cabin door
is opened and the operating mode "Stand-by for remote
operation" is enabled.
● The temperature sensor must be attached in a way that ensures
it is not affected by infl ow of air.
* Remote operation according to EN 60335-1:2012:
Controlling and/or regulating a device by a command that can be issued
out of sight of an appliance, with transmission media such as telecom-
munication, audio technology or bus systems used to accomplish this.
