Safety

2.1 Intended use

The Schlüter -KERDI-BOARD-NLT niches and associated system components are intended
®
solely for the production of accent lighting in indoor areas, including rooms with intermittent
humid environmental conditions (e.g. bathrooms). If stainless steel profiles ( V4A) are used,
the LED system is also intended for installation in pool landscapes/swimming pools without
continuous exposure to water. The intended use requires the exclusive use of the system
components mentioned in these operating instructions in the permissible combinations stat-
ed. Any use deviating from this is deemed misuse.

2.2 Foreseeable misuse

If the Schlüter -KERDI-BOARD-NLT niches are used contrary to the specifications in these

operating instructions, such use could result in property damage and personal injury.

Misuse of the LED system can lead to dangerous
situations and/or property damage.
– Never use the LED system in explosive atmospheres.
– Do not open components of the LED system.
– Never remove, strip or disconnect pre-assembled cables in delivery
state.
– Only use original Schlüter
– Only use the LED system in the manner described in these operating
instructions.
– Never install the LED system in areas that are completely under water,
be it continuously or temporarily (e.g. swimming pool lighting).
