11 - Do not use the cable/lead in poor
conditions.
- Never jerk the cable/lead to disconnect it from
the electric socket.
- Keep the cable/lead away from heat, all
lubricant and all sharp edges.
12 - Fixing the part to be machined.
- As far as possible use clamps or a vice to hold
the piece to be machined. This practice is safer
than using the hands.
13 - Do not adopt an exaggerated attitude
- Keep a suitable balanced position at all times.
14 - Maintain tools carefully.
- Keep cutting tools sharp and clean for the best
and safest performance.
Follow the instructions for lubricating and
replacing accessories.
- Examine the tool cables/leads regularly and
have them repaired, when they are damaged,
by an approved maintenance service.
- Examine the extension leads regularly and
replace them if they are damaged.
Keep the handles dry, clean and free of any
lubricant and any grease.
15 - Disconnect tools.
- Disconnect tools from the power supply when
they are not in used, before servicing and
during replacement of accessories such as
blades, drills and cutting devices.
16 - Remove adjustment keys.
- Acquire the habit of checking that keys and
other adjustment devices have been removed
from the tool before starting it.
17 - Avoid all accidental starting.
- Check that the switch is in the "off" position
when connecting.
18 - Use external connection cables.
- When the tool is used outside, only use
extension leads intended for external use and
with corresponding marking.
19 - Remain vigilant.
- Watch what you are doing, demonstrate
common sense and do not use the tool when
you are tired.
20 - Check damaged parts.
- Before using the tool for other purposes,
examine it carefully to determine whether it will
operate correctly and accomplish its planned
function.
- Check the alignment or locking of the moving
parts, and the absence of any broken parts or
any fixing and other conditions that are likely to
affect the operation of the tool.
- A protective guard or other damaged part
should be repaired or replaced by an approved
maintenance centre, unless stated otherwise in
this instruction manual.
- Have defective switches replaced by an
approved maintenance centre.
- Do not use the tool if the switch does not
permit change from the on state to the off state.
21 – Warning.
- The use of any accessory or any fixing other
than that or those recommended in this
instruction manual can present a risk of injury to
persons.
22 - Have the tool repaired by a qualified
person.
- This electric tool satisfies the corresponding
safety rules. Repairs should only be made by
qualified persons using original spare parts. Not
doing this can expose the user to significant
danger.
