MATERIALS:
A 1 Crossbar
B 1 Right Hand Sidearm
C 1 Left Hand Sidearm
D 4 M12 x 40 x 1.75 Bolts, Lock Washer, Flat Washer (40mm O.D) & Cage Nut Assembly
E 4 M10 x 40 x 1.25 Bolt & Washer
F 2 M10 x 1.25 Nyloc Nut & Washer
G 4 M12 x 35 x 1.75 Bolt, Washers & Nyloc Nut
H 2 M12 x 25 x 1.75 Bolt, Washers (x4) & Nyloc Nut
ZE 1 Electrical Plate
ZN 1 Neck Kit
FITTING:
1. Using owner's manual as a guide, remove rear light clusters. Carefully disconnect wiring attached.
2. Remove bumper. Remove fixings situated at the tip of each wheel arch. Remove 10 fixings from along the bumpers
edge. Starting at the bumper tips peel the bumper away from the vehicle. Support the bumper whilst disconnecting any
wiring attached.
3. Remove crash beam by removing 6 off fixings. Return crash beam and fixings to the customer.
4. Lower exhaust boxes and heat shields to expose grommets on the bottom face of chassis. Remove grommets.
5. Pre-Assemble Cage Nuts from (D) to Side Arms (B & C) using separate instructions.
6. Insert side-arms (B) and (C) into chassis rails. Loosely attach to the chassis using fixings (D) and to the rear panel using
fixings (E & F)
7. Attach Crossbar (A) to the Sidearms using fixings (G).
8. Attach the chosen Neck Kit (ZN) using separate fasteners and instructions and the Electrical plate (ZE) using fixings (H).
9. Ensure Towbar is aligned correctly before fully tightening all fasteners to their correct torque setting.
10. Replace heat shields and exhaust boxes.
11. Cut the bumper using the diagram below as a guide and re-fit.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings:
Grade 8.8: M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
Grade 10.9: M12 – 139Nm, M10 – 78Nm
