Prior to fi rst use
Before you use the product, you must
• unpack the device and check it for transport damages,
• insert the batteries in the device.

Unpacking the unit

❐ Danger of suffocation by the wrapper and bags. Keep children away from the
packaging.
• Unpack the device and the accessories. Using the list of product contents (see "Product
contents" section), check the contents for completeness and possible transport damage.
Should you identify any transport damages, do not use the device (!), instead please promptly
consult customer service (see section "Customer Service").

Inserting batteries

❐ Batteries may be life threatening if swallowed. Therefore keep batteries and the
device out of the reach of young children. Should a battery be swallowed seek
medical help immediately.
• You need 2 batteries for each microprocessor unit (1.5 V batteries, Type AAA). They are
included in the product contents.
• When the batteries are low, the battery light will turn off. Change the batteries immediately
to ensure that the device functions properly.

Use

❐ Beginners should stimulate each muscle group for no more than 10 minutes per
day!
❐ For beginners, we recommend limiting the use to no more than 1-2 times per day
with at least a 4-hour break between each use!
❐ You should never exceed the maximum period of use of 30 minutes per muscle
group and day. We recommend limiting use to no more than 3 workouts per day
with at least a 4-hour break between workouts.
The "Ab Maxx Pro Butterfl y-Pads" is not a normal massage device. It triggers muscle contractions
by means of gentle electric stimulation. You can see how your own muscles move. The device
does NOT produce any vibrations or sound waves.

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the microprocessor
unit by pulling it towards the arrow.
2. Insert two batteries. In the process, ensure that they are
arranged with the correct polarity (+/-)!
3. Close the battery compartment.
