STEP 4 - Configuring cameras
WARNING! Even if TC19 (80TC1U00133) and TC20 (80TC1V00133) cameras are
branded Elkron, they must be configured as "OTHER" cameras. For configuration, refer
to "STEP 5".
1. Use the CDRom included in the camera package and insert it in your PC slot, then install the IP
Discovery software. Launch the application that will search for and display the cameras available
in the wired LAN (or WI-FI) network. Select and click on an IP address from the displayed list of
cameras, then press the CONNECT button. After establishing a connection with a camera, you
will be prompted to type a user name and password for that camera (factory username: admin,
Psw: admin). Then, the camera image will be displayed on the screen.
Together with the image, a menu will be shown from which to select the "Settings"  "Network"

 "General" items and then set the  Static IP  Netmask  Gateway and (if they are known)
the network DNS, too.
3. Enable the technical code on the control panel (factory setting 000000), and from the Master
Code, the "REMOTE ACCESS" option.
4. From your PC close down IP Discovery and open the application Hi-connect.
5. Select Manage  Systems.
6. On the list of systems, select the concerned system and then  Open to Manage.
7. Select the "Web Server" TAB.
8. Check that the present connection mode is the required one (e.g. LAN (IT500WEB Local) –
192.168.xxx.xxx:xxxx).
9. Select "Connect".
10. After a connection is established, the green dot in the dialogue box will illuminate: select from the
displayed menu the item  Cameras, by ticking the fields in the Hi-connect window, the 
camera NUMBER,  TYPE (Elkron/other) and  ADDRESS (static IP or dynamic DHCP). Save
your settings by clicking the icon shaped like a "floppy disk".
11. The factory physical IP address of the cameras is 192.168.1.200.
12. Repeat the same setting procedure for all the other cameras concerned and/or present by setting
a different or suitable IP address.
13. After completing the procedure, save by clicking the "floppy disk" icon and then "TRANSFER".
14. At this point, the WEB server board will restart automatically reading "Restarting. Please wait".
15. Wait approximately 6 minutes for the reboot; at the end, the following confirmation message will
appear: Procedure correctly completed  press  OK.
Re-connecting will then be performed automatically; log out and close down Hi-connect.
16. Access the browser of your PC for connection to the Web server, open the web page, log in
(with the credentials of the Web Server board) and click on the item  Video surveillance 
Video cameras  to check image viewing via the cameras connected to the system.
Save and exit the menu
(Skip if there are no cameras)
