4. TAC5 CONTROL SYSTEM

The TAC5 control device manages the following features:

Fan airflow management (accurate knowledge of fan's working point)

Management of time slots

Automatic 70% by-pass control (freecooling)

Automatic opening/closing control of the dampers (CT) mounted at the inlet (option)

Control of the post-heating (water or electrical) / cooling coil if mounted in the supply ducting (option)

Control of the pre-heating (water or electrical) coil if mounted in the incoming fresh air ducting (option)
Here are the ways to 'communicate' with the TAC5 control:

LCD display mounted on the TAC5 print board and K1-K2-K3 contacts

RC (LCD remote control)

GRC (graphic touchscreen display, can control up 247 units)

MODBUS RTU network (usually to connect to a BMS)

MODBUS TCP/IP protocol (to connect to a BMS or to interface with EOLE 4 App for smartphone, tablet and
PC using operating systems Android, IOS or Windows 7/8/10)

KNX network
The following options can be combined with TAC5 control:

The SAT3 Option is a Circuit with 2 relays
When plugged in position O.R.1 : status of « Default alarm » warning and of « Pressure alarm » warning

When plugged in position O.R.2 : status of « FAN ON » warning or control of the dampers (CT)

SAT BA/KW Option:
Regulation of 2 external heat exchangers (electrical/water, hot and/or cold).

Communication option (only possible one at a time):
- SAT MODBUS option: MODBUS RTU communication, enables the GRC option – graphic touchscreen
display.
- SAT ETHERNET Option: communication with MODBUS TCP/IP protocol on Ethernet network over
twisted pair 10 BASE T/100Base-TX IEEE 802.3.
- SAT WIFI Option: communication with MODBUS TCP/IP protocol on wireless Wi-Fi network.
- SAT KNX Option: KNX communication.
