CHANGING THE LAMP IN OTOSCOPE HEAD:
With the Visio Otoscope, first loosen the screw and then unmount the head from handle by rotating in
clockwise direction as shown in figure-4. Now pull the lamp downwards as shown in figure-5 and wipe the
glass of new lamp making sure that it is clean and then push it inside the otoscope head. After that lock
the Otoscope head onto handle by rotating (Anti-clock wise) and tighten the screw with head and handle.
Use original lamps only. Switch off the unit completely before removing the Instrument head.
CHANGING THE LAMP/LED IN OPHTHALMOSCOPE HEAD:
With the Visio ophthalmoscope, first loosen the screw and then unmount the head from handle by rotating
in clockwise direction as shown in figure-6. Now pull the lamp / LED downwards as shown in figure-7 and
wipe the glass of new lamp making sure that it is clean and then push it inside the ophthalmoscope head.
After that lock the ophthalmoscope head onto handle by rotating (Anti-clock wise) and tighten the screw with
head and handle.
EAR TIP DISPENSER (PER CODES 31620 – 31621):
Do not reuse the dispsable specula! Do not sterilize the specula in an autoclave or with disinfectants!
Operating procedure:
1. The Visio 5 Plus Ear Tip Dispenser can hold up to 100 specula with two different sizes: 2.5mm and
4.0mm.
2. Insert the specula from the top by removing the covering cap.
3. The 2.5mm specula can be fetched from the first two slots on the bottom part of the dispenser. The
next two slots are for the 4.0mm specula.
4. The holding device makes it easy to fetch one speculum at a time.
Cleaning of the dispenser:
1. The Visio 5 Plus Ear Tip Dispenser can be cleaned using the following method.
2. Slightly moisten a cotton swab or cloth with isopropyl or ethyl alcohol and gently wipe the surface of
the cover.
3. Wipe from side to side rather than in a circular motion.
STORAGE:
Since the product is made of corrosion-proof materials suitable for the environmental conditions foreseen
for its normal use, it does not require any special care, however, it must be stored in such a way as to
make sure it is protected from dust and water to ensure its hygienic conditions and protection against
short circuits during operation.
