INTENDED USE:

Visio 5 plus is convenient, modular package that places everything needed for fast, accurate diagnosis at
arm's length. By combining a wall device with ophthalmoscope, otoscope and specula dispenser, Gima
places all the basic diagnostic tools within easy reach. The VISIO 5plus provides a constant 3.5V output
voltage independent of mains voltage fluctuations for medical diagnostic instruments. It should only be
operated by trained medical staff within a professional health facility.
The VISIO 5plus is the convenient, toughest and reliable modular diagnostic station for hospitals and
medical practices. With its centralized electrical power supply, the VISIO 5 offers the reliability required.
This guarantees cost savings and eliminates the need for batteries, which is also good for the environ-
ment.
PRECAUTIONS:

This unit does not require any maintenance. Do not open the housing. Repairs should only
be carried out by qualified specialists. If the unit is damaged, disconnect the power cord
immediately.

Ensure that the mains voltage specified on the instrument label conforms to the local mains
voltage.
•
Do not use in the presence of an explosion hazard or in magnetic fields.
•
Check the correct operation of the device before use.
•
Use power supply in dry environment only.
•
Avoid splashing water.
•
Use only original Gima parts, spare parts, accessories and power sources.
