CAUTION!
The unit cannot operate without interruption for longer than 3 minutes. After 3
minutes of uninterrupted operation, turn the unit off and leave to cool for at least
20 minutes before using again.
If too little juice has been squeezed in the time given above, turn the unit off (turn the
speed dial to "0") and leave it to cool before juicing more fruits or vegetables.
After finishing juicing, turn the juicer off and remove the plug from its socket.
CAUTION!
If the unit is not in use, always disconnect it from its power source. Do the same
before removing or attaching sub-assemblies.

Advice and tips

When preparing juice from different kinds of fruits and vegetables, it can be helpful to
combine them based on their characteristics and in various configurations. For
example, when juicing apples and oranges, first juice the soft fruit (oranges) then the
hard one (apples). This helps make the best juice possible.
When making juice from fresh herbs such as mint or parsley, insert them into the
juicer between pieces of fruits/vegetables in order to get the largest amount of juice.
If there is only a small amount of herbs, they should be inserted together with pieces
of fruits/vegetables.
Starchy fruits (banana, papaya, fig, avocado, mango, etc.) are difficult to juice (the
mousse created can clog the sieve). Such fruits should be processed in a mixer or
blender. If a given juice flavour requires banana, insert it into the juicer as the first or
second piece of fruit. Mixing with other juices will help the banana nectar to flow more
easily, but can sometimes result in foaming.
Small fruits such as grapes and strawberries should be juiced in bunches, not
individually. This will provide best juicing results.
Remember that red beets will colour all other fruits and vegetables. Always juice beets
after finishing all other juices to avoid undesired colouring.
Apple juice quickly turns brown when exposed to air. Add just a hint of lemon juice to it.
Juice should be served right after squeezing, as with time it will lose taste and
nutritional value.
