FITTING
1. Insert Spreader Plates (F) into slot in underside of chassis rail for Sidearms (D). Loosely attach Sidearms (D)
using forward Bolts (G).
Note: Ensure Sidearms (D) are orientated as shown, to clear the fuel lines on the left side, and the exhaust
hanger on the right side.
2. Insert Spreader Plates (F) into slot in underside of chassis rail. Loosely attach Towbar Mainframe (A) using
rearmost Bolts (G).
Note: Protect outer face of bumper from Towbar Mainframe (A). Exhaust can be pulled lower, gaining enough
clearance to slide Towbar Mainframe (A) between exhaust and bumper.
3. Loosely attach Sidearms (D) to Towbar Mainframe (A) using Bolts (H).
4. Push up Towbar Mainframe (A) to gain adequate exhaust clearance and finally, Tighten All Bolts.
Note: This towbar must be used with either a Witter Towball (part number Z11) or Class A50-1 or A50-X towball dimensionally
Conforming to A50-1 with a 'D' and 'S' value greater than or equal to that of the towbar.
Please refer to the vehicle specification for the trailer weight and nose limits, which must be observed.
Recommended torque settings: M8 - 27Nm, M10 - 53 Nm, M12 - 95 Nm, M14 - 150 Nm, M16 - 214 Nm
