7. The oil level must be between the marks on the
dipstick. If the level is near the ADD mark, fill oil
to the FULL mark.
8. Fill the oil through the hole for the dipstick. Fill
the oil slowly.

9. Tighten the dipstick fully before you start the
engine.
To replace the engine oil
If the engine is cold, start the engine for 1–2 minutes
before you drain the engine oil. This makes the
engine oil warm and faster to drain.
WARNING:

you drain the engine oil. The engine oil
becomes very hot and can cause burn
injuries. Let the engine become cool
before you drain the engine oil.

1. Park the product on level ground and stop the
engine.
2. Engage the parking brake. Refer to
cutting deck in transport position or mow position
on page 13 .
3. Remove all dirt around the oil tank cap.
4. Remove the oil tank cap and the dipstick.
5. Find the oil drain plug on the engine. Refer to
Product overview on page 3 .
6. Put a container below the oil drain plug.
7. Remove the oil drain plug.
8. Let the oil run out into the container.
9. Replace and install the oil drain plug.
10. Fill with new oil and do a check of the engine oil

To replace the hydraulic oil and the
hydraulic oil filters
WARNING:

Note:
It is faster to drain the hydraulic oil if the
engine is warm.
Do the procedure that follows on both sides of the
product.
1. Clean the product.
2. Clean the area around the hydraulic oil filter.
3. Remove the dipstick.
4. Put a container below the oil drain plug.
5. Remove the oil drain plug and the O-ring
assembly. Let the oil drain into the container.
6. Remove the hydraulic oil filter with needle nose
pliers.
7. Drain the hydraulic oil from the hydraulic oil filter
into a container before you discard the hydraulic
oil filter.
8. Install a new hydraulic oil filter.
9. Install the O-ring assembly and the oil drain plug.
Torque the oil drain plug to 13–15.3 Nm (9.6–
11.3 lb-ft).
10. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with hydraulic oil. Refer
Technical data on page 29 .

11. Make sure the hydraulic oil level is correct. The
cold fluid level should touch the bottom of the
dipstick.
12. Install the dipstick. Torque the dipstick to 2–3.4
Nm (1.5–2.5 ld-ft).
