Power saving mode. Once activated (ON) the
instrument switches itself OFF, 120 seconds
after the last key has been pressed. If the
powder saving mode is deactivated the
instrument remains on until the OFF key is
pressed or the batteries are drained.

4.3 Memory menu

The instrument has a memory for 99 datasets.
Each dataset contains
measurements: Relative humidity, ambient-
temperature, surface- temperature, dewpoint-
temperature, delta-T and time/date.
Once the memory option is activated "ON" the
HOLD-key can be used to save measurements.
In the memory-menu saved measurements can
be recalled and maintained.
This menu can only be entered once the memory
has been activated (link symbol is visible) and
at least one dataset/measurement is saved.
1. Enter menu-mode (<=
appears in the text-field.
2. Select MEMORY ON with the arrow keys <=
or => and press Hold ↵.
3. If the memory was already activated
'RECALL' appears. If not, repeat step 1 and 2
If "RECALL" still not appears this indicates
there are no measurements saved in the
memory.

4.3.1 recall

Display of saved datasets. Press "hold" and with
the arrow keys a specific dataset can be found
identified by SAVE number and time/date. With
the Hold ↵ key the chosen dataset is activated
and all measurements of this specific dataset
can be viewed.
Now it is also possible to scroll through the
entire memory.
For a fast scroll press OFF
dataset and than press Hold ↵ again.

4.3.2 print

Printing of the saved data directly to the
(optional) HP-Ir printer.
Once at menu-option recall OFF key is pressed
the menu-option print is entered.
Place the instrument in front of the Hp-Ir printer
at a distance of about 10-cm. And make sure
the Ir-transmitter of the Dewcheck is facing the
Ir-reciever of the printer.
By pressing the enter Hold ↵ key all saved
measurements will be send to the printer
through the infrared transmitter at the top of
the following the gauge.
The printing can be stopped by pressing the
escape OFF
measuring-mode.

4.3.3 export

Export of saved data to a windows-based
computer.
If at the menu-option print, the OFF key is
pressed the export option is entered.
Once at menu-option export by pressing the Hold ↵
=> =>), 'MEMORY' => => => key will send all saved data through the serial link
(requires the use of the optional communication
set).

4.3.4 clear

Clearing the saved measurements from the
memory.
Each time the enter Hold ↵ key is pressed the
latest reading is removed , keep the hold key
pressed for fast removal of all saved
measurements.
Cleared measurements can not be recalled later
and are permanently lost!
Once all measurements are cleared or the
escape OFF key is pressed one returns to the
measuring-mode.
