Do not connect any damaged device (e.g. damage in transit). Repairs to
the equipment must only be performed by specialists.

Remove the mains adapter from the mains outlet when the device is not
required for a longer time.

The transmission of the camera signal uses a public frequency. It is
possible that the video and audiosignals can be received by other
2,4GHz receivers. For this reason it is recommended that the camera be
disconnected from the power supply when not in use.
!
This system transmits and receives radio-frequency signals. If the system
is not installed and used according to the instructions it may cause
interference with other apparatus and just as other apparatus may
interfere with the system. Interference can be reduced by:
- repositioning the system
- select a different channel (see chapter 12.1)
7. Location of equipment
Before mounting the camera check the wireless reception from the desired
location.
Observe the following points:
!
Position the camera so that no direct light or sunshine falls on the lens
otherwise the picture may become overexposed. Remember that the
position of the sun changes. Check the camera image before mounting.
Provisionally connect and commission the device and hold the camera in
the desired position. If necessary, change the camera position until you
have found the desired view.

Select the distance between the camera and the subject according to the
level of detail desired.
!
The camera has infrared illumination [4] for the close range. This is
activated by the daylight sensor [3]. You can improve the quality of the
image at night by using additional illumination. The camera
automatically switches to black and white in low light conditions and in
artificial light.
!
If you want to install the camera outdoors, then protect the camera
against direct rainfall if possible. The mains adapter must be in a dry
location. The connection between camera and mains adapter cable must
be protected against moisture.
!
Ensure that there is a possible cable routing at the installation location.
!
The maximum range of the wireless signal is up to 100m with line of
sight contact between camera and monitor. Within buildings the range is
greatly reduced by walls and floors, in particular those made of steel
reinforced concrete, to a maximum of 20m. Metal housings, shelves and
mirrors also block the wireless signal.
!
The wireless transmission can also be affected by strong electric fields
and other wireless equipment. Ensure an adequate distance of the
camera and receiver to microwave ovens, cordless phones, mobile
phones, wireless devices in the 2.4GHz frequency band, electric motors
and high voltage devices or power cables.

The monitor must be placed on a solid and level surface, ideally 1m
above the floor (optimal reception).
8. Installation of the camera

Fix the bracket [13] in the selected location (eg. wall or ceiling) using the
supplied screws [16] and if necessary the supplied wall plugs [17].
!
Screw the thread of the bracket into the thread [6 or 9] of the
U-bracket.
!
Adjust the angle of the camera to give the required view and then tighten
the triangular nut [15] and the wing screw [14].
!
Connect the DC-plug of the 7,5 V DC, 300 mA mains adapter cable [18] to
the mains adapter connection [5] of the camera cable.
!
Connect the mains adapter with a suitable mains outlet.
!
For mobile use the camera can be powered with a 9 Volt Block battery.
!
Connect the battery using the battery connection cable [12] with the mains
adapter connection [5] of the camera. a full alkaline battery can power the
camera up to 4 hours.
9. Fixing and connection of the receiver
!
Fold out the stand [24] to stand on a level surface.
!
To hang the monitor on the wall secure the wall bracket [27] with the 4
screws [32] through the fixing holes [29] into the screw holes [25]. Fix the
2 screws [31] into the wall with a horizontal separation of 30 mm using
the plugs [30] if necessary. The screw heads should protrude 2 mm from
the wall. Now hang the keyhole slots [28] over the screwheads.

Twist the antenna [26] upright.
!
Connect the DC-plug of the 7,5 V DC, 800 mA mains adapter cable [34] to
the mains adapter connection of the monitor[23].
!
Connect the mains adapter with a suitable mains outlet.
!
If you wish to connect the Audio-/Video-signal to a videomonitor, TV or
recorder connect this using the AV-cable [33] to the Audio-/Video-output
[22] of the monitor (see fig. C). Connect the yellow cinch plug with the
video input and the white plug with the audio input. Use a suitable
cinch/BNC adapter if required for a BNC input.
To avoid possible damage due to incompatibility of the signals, connect
the white audio-cinch plug only with an audio input. The yellow video-
cinch plug must only be connected with a video input. If you are unsure
about the connections please consult a specialist.
To extend the connection cable use a 3,5mm Stereo-Extension cable (see
section 16 ) or use suitable cinch-cable or RG59 (75 Ohm) coaxial cable.
Use of other cable can result in interference. Keep the connection cable as
short as possible.
10. Operation

After connection of the power supply the camera is in operation.
!
Press the on/off button [21] for up to 3 seconds until the Power-LED [39]
lights red.
!
The direction of the antenna [26] can be selected for the best reception.
The recommended position is vertical.
!
To turn off the monitor press the on/off button [21] for up to 3 seconds.
