11. A heater has hot elements inside. Do not use it in the areas where gasoline, paint, or
flammable liquids are used or stored. Keep unit away from heated surfaces and open
flames.
12. CAUTION: Using an extension cord may overheat and cause a risk of fire. Always plug
heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or
relocateable power tap (outlet/power strip)
13. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the unit directly into a grounded 120 V AC electrical
outlet. Do not remove the plug's grounding prong and do not use 3-prong adapters in 2-
prong receptacles. DO NOT attempt to defeat this safety feature, because it could lead
to an electric shock hazard.
14. To disconnect heater, turn controls OFF, then remove plug from outlet. Pull firmly on the
plug, DO NOT unplug by pulling on the cord.
