supervised by a person who is responsible
for their safety or have been shown how
to use the device safely, and understand
the dangers associated with the device.
- Do not open the rechargeable battery and
charger! Risk of short circuit.
- Protect the charger against metal parts
(e.g. metal chips) and liquids! Risk of elec-
tric shock.
- Do not use any third-party rechargeable
battery or third-party chargers! Risk of fire.
- Protect the rechargeable battery against
heat, and also against sustained exposure
to sunlight and fire!
- Never use water to extinguish Li-ion
rechargeable batteries which are on fire!
Use sand or a fire blanket.
- Regularly check the plug and cable of the
charger in order to avoid dangers. If the
mains lead or electrical parts of the device
are damaged, they must be renewed by
Sika customer service or a similarly quali-
fied specialist in order to avoid dangers.
- When the charger is not in use, remove
the mains plug from the socket.
- Do not cover ventilation openings of the
charger. Otherwise, the charger could over-
heat and will no longer function correctly.
- Do not insert conductive objects into the
charger.
