9.2 WLAN
In the Setup menu, use the arrows on the remote
control to select the Wireless option and press OK.
This will take you to Your current wireless
settings:
Here you have the following options:
Add
Remove
Property
Site Survey
Move Up
Move down
Property
In the Wireless menu, use the arrows on the
remote control to select the Property option and
press OK.
To input an SSID select the setup options, press the
OK button on the remote control when the SSID
window is highlighted. The on-screen keyboard will
be displayed (see chapter 5.4). You can now enter the SSID.
To select the Mode, press the OK button on the remote control when the Mode
window is highlighted. You can choose between the Ad-hoc Mode and
Infrastructure Mode. Ad-hoc is used for wireless peer-to-peer networks that do not
contain a router or a Wireless Access Point. You can use it, for example, to connect
your ACTIVITY Media Player directly with your PC.
Infrastructure Mode is used for networks with a Wireless Access Point or router.
To select Encryption, press the OK button on the remote control when the
encryption window is highlighted. You can choose between Disable, 64bits-Hex,
128bits-Hex, 64bits-ASCII, 128bits-ASCII and WPA-PSK-TKIP. Further information
can be found in chapter 6.5 under Encryption.
Here you can add a new
Access Point manually.
Here you can remove an
Access Point from the list.
Increase priority of the
selected network
