In vehicles with PDC sensors an extra bore hole needs too be drilled (see fig.12).
Plug the 15-pin receptacle housing onto the trailer module.
Attach the enclosed trailer module to the right side of the trunk behind the side panelling with Velcro
tape or cable binders (see fig. 13).
Connect the cable sockets of the brown and brown/white wires to the vehicle's earthing point on
the right wheel case (see fig. 13).
Functional test
Reconnect the earthing wire to the battery.
Check all functions with a suitable testing instrument.
Note:
A defect in the direction indicator of the trailer will be displayed in towing mode by the vehicle's
control lights via an increased flashing rate!!
Lay all the wire lanes of the trailer along the vehicle's wire lanes, attach with the enclosed cable
binders and/or insert into the existing cable mountings!
Replace all coverings and disassembled parts.
