Using the enclosed cable binders with fastening lugs, attach the wire lane to the tail plate.(See
illustration 2, position 3)
Position the rubber bushing that is assembled on the wire lane and insert it in the leadthrough hole
to the trunk.
Note!
a) Make sure that the seal elements sit properly!!
The seal on the wire's exit from the socket must sit on the insulating hose and not on the
individual leads!
b) Lay the wire lane in a way that prevents abrasion!
c) Do not lay the wire lane close to the exhaust system !!

Limousine / Coupé:
Lead the 15-pin receptacle housing of the wire lane to the diagonally running tie-bar on the right side
of the trunk.
Vehicles with PDC (Park Distance Control)
Unscrew the existing retaining plate with the control unit for PDC . (See illustration 3)
