CONNECTIONS
Pairing this unit with the Pairing Master
If you register this unit as a Pairing Device of the MusicCast network's Pairing Master (sound bar or wireless streaming
speaker, etc.), you can use it as a network subwoofer to enjoy richer sound.
1.
On your mobile device, start "MusicCast
CONTROLLER" and open the settings
screen of the Pairing Master.
NOTE
● Register both this unit and the Pairing Master on
the MusicCast network in advance. (→ p. 13
"Registering this unit on the MusicCast network")
● When setting the Pairing Master in the screen of
the app, select the following.
– For wireless connection: "Normal"
– For wired connection: "Speed Boost"

Following the guidance in the app,
register this unit as a network subwoofer
(Pairing Device).
When you have finished registering this unit as a
Pairing Device, operate the Pairing Master in the app
screen to play back audio.
To cancel pairing with the Pairing
Master
Operate "MusicCast CONTROLLER" to cancel this
unit's registration.

Linking operation with the Pairing
Master
When you pair this unit as a network subwoofer, this unit
will follow operations of the Pairing Master.
Power operation
This unit's power (Standby/ON) is linked with operations
of the Pairing Master.
Volume and other settings
In accordance with a setting of the Pairing Master this
unit's settings also change in order to obtain the optimal
low-frequency sound.
Settings that are linked:
• Volume
• High-cut filter (crossover frequency)
