10. Function settings

Various functional settings can be applied us-
ing the additional function (mode) selec-
tion button
functional mode each time the mode button is
pressed (see illustration).

During each measurement, the TP6 deter-
mines the maximum temperature value
(MAX) and shows it on the functional
temperature display
The TP6 has an individual emission factor setting and an acoustic
alarm for freely selectable upper and lower alarm limit values.
To activate or deactivate the alarm function and to set the de-
sired alarm limit values or the emission factor, navigate to the
corresponding function mode using the mode button

down selection buttons.

These settings are stored in the device - even when it is
switched off - until the next setting change.
The TP6 has a continuous measurement function. In this mode,
the device measures the temperature continuously without the
measurement button

When continuous measurement is activated, it is not
possible to change the display status of the background
lighting or laser beam display. You should therefore se-
lect the appropriate settings before activating continuous
measurement.

factor for the respective material at any time using the up

measurement process.
