1 Safety Information
- you have a cardiac pacemaker, artificial joints or electronic
implants,
- you suffer from one or more of the following illnesses and
complaints: Circulation disorders, Diabetes, Thromboses,
varicose veins, open wounds, bruises, broken skin, inflam-
mation of the veins.

If you experience any pain or discomfort during the massage,
stop immediately and consult your doctor.
• Never leave the unit unattended if it is connected to the power
supply.
•
Take care when using the heater. Do not use if you have circula-
tory problems or on areas not sensitive to heat. Risk of burning!
•
Take care when using the heating function. The appliance has a
hot surface. Do not use the appliance on small children, vulner-
able individuals or people who are not sensitive to heat.
• Consult your doctor if you have any questions concerning the
therapeutic use of the Shiatsu massage seat cover.
•
If you have unexplained pain, are receiving treatment from a
doctor and/or use medical equipment, consult your doctor before
using the Shiatsu massage seat cover.
•
Use of the massage device is prohibited in the following cases:
- not on children,
- not on animals,
- never while you sleep,
- not in the car,
- not while ingesting substances that reduce reaction times
(e.g. painkiller medications, alcohol).
before using the unit
Before using the device for the first time, both trans-
port locks must be removed from the back of the
backrest at the top and bottom (see illustration at the
front of the Instruction Manual).
1. Use the Allen-key supplied to turn the screws anti-
clockwise and remove. (1)
