Installation instructions
Non-commissioned systems (new filters) that have been transported
and stored below 0°C must be stored in their original packaging at
least 24 hours before start-up at the ambient temperature of the
installation site.
Please observe the technical data and the operating and safety
instructions in this operating manual before commissioning.

Fitting the filter system

A Close the water supply and switch off any existing power supply of
the terminal.
Mount the wall holder in the intended position or alternatively

set the foot to the intended position.
C Mount the backflow inhibitor on the filter head inlet. Attention:
Use the supplied flat seal. The max. tightening torque must not
exceed 14 Nm. Attach the tube or pipe connection. At the inlet,
the installation of a shut-off valve is recommended.
D Click the filter head into the wall holder. (not required if you are
using the foot).
E Pull tab off protective cap of filter cartridge upwards, remove
protective cap. Note the next replacement date.
F Open the filter head lock. Insert the filter cartridge vertically in the
filter head and pay attention to the correct position. Then turn the
locking handle until it clicks into place.
G If using the foot, insert the cartridge into the foot. Open the water
supply and, if necessary, switch on any existing power supply of
the terminal.
H Operate the 'flush valve' and flush the filter system until bubble-
free and the filtered water runs clear. At least 5.4 litres must be
flushed.
Note: When venting/flushing, collect the water from the flush tube
in a suitable container and check the system for any leaks.
