General instructions
Miele Plug & Pure is a water filter system for demineralising water
using ion exchange resins. In the flow process, the total salt content of
the water to be filtered is reduced to a minimum, whereby deposits in
downstream terminals are avoided.
The water filter system is supplied with a non-return valve tested by the
EN
DVGW, which fulfils the requirements of DIN EN 1717 as a safety valve.
Typical application areas are steam sterilisers in accordance with EN
13060.
Handling
All surrounding conditions for storage, transport and operation in
accordance with the technical data must be observed. Installation may
only be carried out by qualified personnel. Proper use of this product
requires the installation, use and maintenance described in these
instructions for use. Only use filter cartridges intended for the present
filter system.

consequential damage, resulting from incorrect installation or use of
the product.
Specific safety instructions
As feed water for the water filter system, only non-microbiological
contaminated water in drinking water quality may be used.
Pressure and temperature ranges must be adhered to in accordance
with the technical data.
The treated water is classified in category 2 in accordance with
EN 1717.
After commissioning, the filter system should not be taken out of
service for a longer period of time. After a break in use of more than
a week, the filter must be flushed with a volume of 6 litres. Replace
the filter cartridge after a break in use of more than four weeks. The
maximum period of use is 12 months.
The filter system must not be opened or removed during operation.
The filter cartridge may not be opened.
